Germany is the fourth-largest global economy and the first largest economy in Europe. As in the last ten years, Germany was Turkey's #1 export destination in 2020, receiving 9,39% of Turkey’s exports with a total value of $8.838.334,21.
2. United Kingdom
The United Kingdom is the fifth-largest global economy and the second largest economy in Europe. Turkey sent 6,18 % of its total exports to the United Kingdom in 2020, valued at $5.820.796,15. The UK was third in the list last year, but this year they one step up and became second in Turkey’s biggest trading partners.
3. United States
The USA is the #1 largest global economy in the world. The United States was Turkey's #3 export destination, receiving 5,61% of Turkey’s exports with a total value of $5.279.170,39. The United States is the furthest country in the list.
Italy is the #4 largest economy in Europe and #8 in the world. Italy takes 4,74% of Turkey’s exports, of around $4.464.534,86.
Iraq, Turkey’s only neighbour and only Asian country in top 5. Turkey sends 4,60% of its exports to Iraq, valued at $4.327.533,88.
